Okay so it is VERY simple and very easy since the foam sticks so well together using the glue gun. You set the foundation of 4 blocks together.... You let it dry for about 3 minutes and then you stack another 4 blocks vertically, placing it in the center of the base.
After letting it sit for another few minutes to dry, you then place on block in the center, and then use a bit extra glue for the sides to stick the blocks on both sides!
I then cut up a small piece of one of the two extra blocks I am left with, since the center candle of the menorah must be a bit taller than the rest of them..
I again let it sit for a few minutes and then I glue these champagne plastic (they look like glass!) bottles to the top as the candle holders..
We can now put the glue gun away and start with the pretty stuff! I had one mission and that was to not see a speck of that green foam by the time I was finished! It was simple to accomplish!
What I did to save a ton of time, was take all the flowers I had, and trimmed them very short with just a little bit of the root left (so it will hold in the foam) and then I started to fill the foam with it..
Slowly but surely...
it is all filled up!
The final product is truly amazing! You can now fill the cups with oil and a wick and there you have your own homemade menorah! Happy Hanukkah xoxo!
