Just having delivered my little baby boy, my husband and I are trying out the whole "healthy" eating thing... and I'm not one to pick at a salad unless it's topped off with An entire pound of French fries. I decided to play around with my classic Whole Wheat Challah recipe and use that same recipe to make burger buns out of them! Let's just say, it makes it very easy to be healthy when you get creative in the kitchen! it only took me about ten minutes of prep, and I stored the extra dough in the freezer that I could just pop in my oven on a lazy day...
Here's a glimpse of the delicious veggie burger I made and my husband is still raving about it days later! Filled with tons of protein and veggies, it has the perfect balance of a healthy dinner meal.
