If you're looking to eat better without compromising flavor, i've got your mealtimes covered!
This delicious and healthy version of my moms classic shnitzel chicken is so simple to make!
Below, you can find the how-to :)
You'll Need //
3 whole chicken breasts egg yolk 1 tsp. pepper 2 c. bread crumbs 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 c. butter, melted (or margarine for Parve version)
Skin and cut chicken breasts in half
Combine bread crumbs, garlic salt and pepper.
Dip chicken in egg yolk, then dredge in bread crumb mixture. Place in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan; sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
Yes, it is that simple. It is that good. You can also make a big batch and keep it in the fridge for a few days! My husband loves the leftovers more than the night I cook them!
This is the basic shnitzel recipe you can add onto with sauces, seasonings and spices!
